7th Grade Prints to be on Display at the AEA 267
Coming in April you will be able to see your Dunkerton 7th Grade
Artists' prints on display at the AEA 267. The artwork will be located in the main hallway. This is a great opportunity
to showcase one of the many ways we provide our students with a quality education while nurturing their creativity. Administrators
and educators from the surrounding communities who utilize the AEA will be among those who will see these prints.
Parents and friends may also view students work during regular business hours. The following link provides location information.

6th Graders to Gain First Hand
Experience in Marketing & Design
6th graders have been teamed up with two local businesses through
the Newspapers in Education Program with the Waterloo Courier, as part of their annual Design an AD Project. Each student will
design a potential ad for either Rydell Chevrolet or Scott's Electric. One winner from each class will be selected
and published in the Courier at the end of April. Through this process students will learn about layout, design, marketing,
and they will have the opportunity to meet representatives from the businesses.
Star Conference Art Show
The Star Conference Art Show (Wildcat Invitational) will be held
again this year in Janesville. Students will show their artwork, view artwork, and hear from speakers who earn their living
in art related fields. Submissions are due April 5th. This is for grades 9-12 only. Dunkerton will take up to 15 artists
to represent our school on April 14th. A list of categories and entry information are on the Star Conference Art Show page
of this website. See Mrs. Wolfensperger for more details.
